Happy Emancipation !

Without a doubt, we should celebrate Emancipation Day just as how we celebrate Carnival and Independence Day. I personally LOVE to see the African wear but I am not willing to pay the price every year for an African outfit. The last African outfit I wore was some years ago and I still have people talking about how great it looked. Seriously people, why must we pay so much for an African outfit ? I really want to go to the parade tomorrow morning but I did not purchase an outfit, so I will just watch it on TV. Since I will not be in attendance, I will ensure on Independence day I am outfitted in red.

So people, HAPPY EMANCIPATION and enjoy it no matter what you do !

Stay Sweet: Desinger Fragrance of the Day

For those of you who know me personally, know that I am known as the 'Sweet Boy'. Many of you who do not know me personally, will ask why is he called the 'Sweet Boy'. Well the answer is SIMPLE, I LOVE colognes, ORIGINAL DESIGNER FRAGRANCES and I have a HUGE collecion from CK to Kenneth Cole, you name it, I have it. Please note I said original designer colonges 'because I shop by Macy's' to ensure I get the real thing. From now on, I will have a post called 'Designer Fragrance of the Day', this will be a post just showing you some designer fragrances that I think smell great.

So I got an email from a fan of my blog and I and all I could have said was WOW.

Ironing your collar for sucess !

So, I promised a post on How to Iron your Collar for success and here is the post.

You will need : Iron, Ironing Board, LOTS of spray starch and of course a shirt.

Step 1: Make sure the iron is well heated, then lay the collar on the ironing board and apply a coat of spray starch then pass the iron on the flat collar.

Step2: Fold the collar in half, put a HEAVY coat of spray starch on it. then past the iron over it.

Repeat step2 until the collar is crisp and firm

THE OUTCOME : A *swanky swaggerlicious* crisp collar

Ok people, so you know I am still thinking LONG and HARD on who to play with come 2011. Luckily, I can wait until carnival saturday to make my decision because of my LINKS in both TRIBE/BLISS and Ronnie&Caro. Still, before making my decision I have to maintain a B.plus grade in all exams before carnival, so when school is open, I will be on an Internet Fast during the weeks.

SO the decision remains :TRIBE/BLISS or *Ronnie&Caro*

Yuh wanna mind my business ?

So people say that I does storm people Mas Band come carnival Monday and Tuesday. So yuh know yuh boy have to put them in they place. FYI maccoes I do not STORM no band(s), just how you pay for your costume, i pay for my own too. Get it right. LUCKILY I kept the wrist band, that I was given when I collected my costume and I have a picture of it haters!

So when you want to talk about ME get yuh facts right !

Some people have problems !!

So I was reading/maccoing TCD's chat box and realised they wanna be up in my dam business. WTF ?? People in that chat box answer these questions:

1) Did i ever ask you for money to pay for my costume ?

2) Did i ask you to collect my costume with your ID ?

3) Did i ask you for a link in ANY band ?

Well if the answer to ANY one of these questions is no, stop hating !! THANK YOU

NOT ALL people in that chatbox wanna be in my business but SOME just love my business !!

My BLISS Review

So as you know i am thinking about plaing with TRIBE/BLISS, so i am going to do a review on BOTH bands, BLISS first.

IT STARTS :

Caprica: I love the male costume because I can see it on me and it just calls my name. The female is nice especially the headpiece option with no feathers. The colour reminds me of Ex Lin Shi but I still love the costume. GREAT WORK

Ice Warriors: No *WOW* effect on this costume. I just think it is nice .

Pele: I think of plus size chicks FORCING in this skimpy costume. I do like the costume but please remember ladies, children look on. This will work for smaller chicks. Nuff said.

Cylon: I do not LOVE it but it is a GREAT costume. I can see this one on the road, when the sun takes it on the road, you will see the red effect shine with the silver .

Solaris: I like the male costume but it is not me. It will work for some people but not others

Trakson Warriors: Just OK can describe this costume. The male costume realy was not on point when it came to sticking with the theme.

Izumi Clan: A favourite of mine. The models SOLD this section and it was ON POINT.

TITANS: Who say BEST BLISS COSTUME ? I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this costume, if i had to choose BEST BLISS COSTUME well Titans won. EVERYTHING about this section says HOT HOT HOT !!! The colour, stuck to the theme EVERY SINGLE THING.


After all if I have to play on bliss, it will be hard to choose ONE costume. I think I can see myself in any male costume from BLISS. We will just have wait and see who I will be playing with and in what section.

Decision Here ... HELP

Although I am a youth, I normally play with Ronnie&Caro, since the section Chutney to the band. Tonight, I received a call from a friend of mind who will be playing mass with TRIBE or BLISS for the very first time and invited me to join. I am happy for my friend but now I am faced with the challenge of choosing between a friend and a family. Yes, I love my family, but I always wanted the ULTIMATE carnival experience. Ronnie&Caro is also kind of like a family , because you see the same faces every year, and I love that.

So people what should I do. TRIBE/BLISS or Ronnie&Caro

Also note, when I write posts this late it means I will be busy tomorrow and tomorrow I will be busy from morning to night.

NOW help me with this BIG DECISION

What I did today

OK so I was out all day preparing for a party on Friday, that my family and I will be catering for. I am very sorry about today but i am going to make up for it, BTW in less than one week I wrote 16posts. Is that hot or what? Although I walked with my camera, i was unable to take many pictures.

I also said my blog was going to be closed down but who the hell can tell me to stop doing what i enjoy doing ?? God alone can, so lady (you know who you are) may God bless you richly. We are all humans and we make mistakes, so think over forgiveness.

Please note that since I am busy helping out my family, my best friend/partner in crime will be the HBIC until I come back. FYI he/she (ANONYMOUS) not easy to deal with. Good Luck

Blog Shut Down

My readers I know you enjoyed the little blogging experience and I did to. Unfortunately, someone does not like my blog and wants a name change BECAUSE it just has teen at the end of the name. Tomorrow at 7:30pm I will have a closing ceromony and a blog memorial for TrinidadCarnivalDiary:The Teens. I feel to cry but i have to be stronger and know i still have friends who stand by me no metter what. I thank the Lord for making me who I am and not who somebody else want's me to be. So the blog is coming to an end. Thank you for experiencing this short journey with me !

Foregiveness

Do you think we all deserve to be forgiven one day or another ? No matter how bad the deed was ?? Well once you forgive yourself, the other berson should find it within themself to forgive you. As I always say, you have to forgive to be forgiven UNLESS you are a cold hearted snake, it will be hard to forgive. So i say why not give forgiveness a try ? You're not SENSITIVE SALLY or a COLD HEARTED SNAKE. So my lesson to you today is to FORGIVE.

Haters on meh blog !

Vacation... Take 2

So in my last post on my vacation I said I will be attending a basketball camp but, I decided I'll do a computer course instead so I will know how to build computers. I am also taking a transfer, let's just say to a school where you will be asking me for Soka in (?), tickets. So after all, this vacation will be one to remember.
As teens you know we LOVE the mall so i bought a few mall kits.

Secondly, I was invited to the launch of my uncle's band so I will keep you updated. I also want to teach you'll teens how to pop your collar using an Iron and Spray Starch. So you can palance over to Saucy's blog for more carnival info.

Virgin Drinks.. Suited for teens

I just can't stop writing since I have created this blog it is like my public diary, it is name TrinidadCarnivalDiary: The Teens for a reason. The reason being because I LOVE reading Saucy's aka The Sauce's blog (not saucy pau) Trinidad Carnival Diary.com and I am a young Trinidadian who loves his Carnival. This blog is like my NEW diary that helps me voice my opinion. I do not endorse any brand or website I feature on my blog, I just use those brands and websites to show a point.

NOW I know as teens we hear adults say names at restaurants like Mudslides, Pina Colada and many other. We teens are underage to drink so add VIRGIN to the start of those drink names and tell the waitress the VIRGIN drink you will like to have. I recently tried a VIRGIN mudslide which was great so, maybe you can try these VIRGIN drinks.

Ok.. Jansport time

Here in Trinidad, the MUST HAVE school bag is a Jansport bag, but I am personally FED UP of seeing the same normal BLAH Jansport. If you want to be out of the box you can, I say BE A LEADER NOT A FOLLOWER .I own two at the moment a white with silver stars and a brown with creme and blue circles. For the new school term I will be stepping up my game in many various ways. AGAIN i say school is a place for learning yet we need to be stylish. I for one maintain a B grade average in my academic studies and that is why I am able to have free time. I am an all round student because i know there is a time for everything and it may take allot out of me but I know if i continue like this for my entire school life i will get where i want to go when i get older. So make a change and set out a time for everything, like talking, talking is not for the classroom, keep silent unless given the opportunity to BY A TEACHER or an ADULT in authority.

With that said' the out of the box bags are above.

These are some things to think about when choosing your Jansport bag:

1) Is it unusual/out of the box ?

2)Do I really like the variety of bags at this store ?

3)Is it appropriate and will it contrast with my school uniform ?

SO choose well and remember OUT OF THE BOX

Soon school will be reopening and we are faced with the challenge of choosing a PLAIN black, brown or white. The colour of the sneaker may vary according to the school you attend. This sneaker must be stylish, capable of impressing girls and must not break school rules. Now don't get me wrong, school is a place for learning BUT while learning you must have a sense of style. Vacation

So what are you'll doing for the rest of this long vacation ? It is SO boring on my side ... My basketball camp begins in August and after i will be going on a trip to Tobago.

For now I will watch a lot of TV and keep up with the band launches.
